Red, Green and White Ribbon Week
A & C Tracks – September 21-25, 2015
B & D Tracks – September 28-October 2, 2015
What is Red Ribbon Week?
The Red Ribbon Campaign is now the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week. It is an ideal way for schools and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs.
What is Green Ribbon Week?
Green Ribbon Week is a program that focuses on the prevention of injuries from pedestrian/motor vehicle crashes. Schools are encouraged to promote awareness of child pedestrian safety, and to educate children, parents, and the community. Remember always to put SAFETY OVER CONVENIENCE.
What is White Ribbon Week?
White Ribbon Week is a positive, empowering school program that teaches kids to make smart media and online choices. Students learn that they have power over what they see, share, and do with media and technology.
Please watch for daily handouts to come home with your students so families can discuss these important issues together at home.
